Mr. Ushakov has become the main sponsor of the World Senior Chess Championship 2018 in Bled, while supporting a variety of other projects by the European Chess Academy.

We are proud to announce that we have signed a cooperation agreement with a renowned chess company Chess Base from Hamburg.

We have agreed to cooperate in many areas.

We will do our best to raise our game to an even higher level. Moreover, the participation of the German company has enhanced credibility and recognisability of our activities.

A closing ceremony of the World Senior Chess Championship 2018 will be held in the famous Festival Hall in Bled. The marvellous hall with 512 seats, located on one of the most beautiful spots in the world just next to the lake of Bled, enables organization of high-class events.
The Festival Hall - http://www.kongresni-center-bled.si/ - was built in 1961 and opened with the grand international chess tournament, when many World Champions visited Bled.
The closing ceremony is on Thursday, 29. 11. 2018 at 19:00; its main sponsor is Municipality of Bled.
